Arbeiter Ring Shul

Arbeiter Ring is a national Jewish community organization, that first opened a branch (#234) in Dallas in 1908. The social fraternity was started by Eastern European immigrant Jews to promote Yiddish culture. Avid fundraising with lectures, plays, concerts, bazaars, and other community events, generated international relief and mutual aid funds, as well as Yiddish education for children, through a school known as Arbeiter Ring Shul. The Dallas school closed in 1935 due to economic hardship.
