Page Boy  Maternity

The Frankfurt Sisters formed Page Boy Maternity in 1937 in response to the shapeless, fashion-less maternity wear of the era. It grew into a multimillion dollar business. Their first location was in Dallas’ Medical Arts Building at 110 S. Ervay (now 1800 Main Mercantile building), their second was in Hollywood, which brought even greater success.

The company was progressive in both styling and practice, which established a reputation that has lived far beyond its years, as the business closed (merging with Destination Maternity) in 1994.  Click here to watch a past DJHS program presented by Kay Goldman, “Designing Women, Texas Style: Page Boy Maternity and the Frankfurt Sisters of Dallas” to learn more.
