Dreyfuss & Son

Dreyfuss & Son was opened by Gerard Dreyfuss and his son Sol in 1911. Prior to opening this business, Gerard had been closely intertwined with the Kahn Family and E.M. Kahn department store. The 1911 location of Dreyfuss & Son was at Main & Murphy in Downtown Dallas. In 1930, they moved to the Northeast Corner of Main & Ervay, a photo of which is located below alongside the location as it stands currently (as of 2020), which is the site of a branch of Comerica bank.
